About Live Translation

livetranslation.org is the home of Live Translation on Headphones, an iPhone app that translates the person in front of you, live, into your headphones. It is made by Little Tough LLC, a small independent app studio in the United States.

We also publish plain-English guides to live translation on iPhone: how Apple’s built-in Live Translation works, which AirPods and iPhones support it, which languages it covers, and what to do when your device can’t use it. Every guide is checked against Apple’s own support pages and dated, and we update guides when Apple changes something.

• We say clearly when Apple’s built-in feature is the better choice for you.
